Zinc Oxide is a strong, rigid and highly adhesive sports tape with no stretch. The digital unwind means that it will unroll with ease all the way down to the core so that none gets wasted. The bleached cotton fabric is soft and supple to touch and comfortable against the skin. Because of this flexibility it will conform to any lumps and bumps securely.
Our zinc oxide tape has excellent adhesive qualities and a serrated edge for ease of tearing by hand. Suitable for use to immobilise and support joints. Zinc Oxide tape is suitable to tape knees, ankles, shoulders, wrists, thumbs and fingers. Perfect for holding you together for rugby training, football matches or any other activity.
Our zinc oxide sports tape is available in 4 widths; 1.25, 2.5, 3.8 and 5cm all rolls are 13.7m long. The tape’s tensile strength is 43lbs per inch.
How to Apply Zinc Oxide Tape
For best results, handle the adhesive side of the tape as little as possible. Skin preparation is paramount, ensure the area of application is clean and dry. The adhesive improves by warming the tape and by rubbing it once applied to the skin to activate the glue. Using a pre tape adhesive spray or under wrap to prepare the area before application may help. Warning, if you use adhesive spray or skin tuffner, you may need adhesive remover!
